IGRINS-2 on Gemini North Telescope

The team from the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) and the team from the International Gemini Observatory unite at Maunakea to witness the first light of IGRINS-2, a new instrument for the Gemini North telescope. Both teams cooperated to construct the instrument over 3 years. The small golden box behind the team is IGRINS-2.
